Background

Annie Turner was a proud Ileach who, along with her husband John Anderson, built a family of intrepid travellers and seagoing adventurers.  Their children Isobel, Calum, Bertie and Chrissie travelled around the world, however, Islay always remained the pride of their lives.  Annie and her family lived on Shore Street, Port Charlotte, where her descendants still enjoy a run on the beach and a dram on the pier.
